Journal Aims

The primary aim of the Akseprin Jurnal Ilmu Multi Syariah (AJIMS) is to serve as a leading academic platform for the publication of original research, conceptual studies, and critical analyses related to various aspects of Shariah in a contemporary context. This journal aims to:

  • Advance Shariah Scholarship: Encourage the emergence of new ideas, innovative theories, and cutting-edge methodologies in Shariah studies, both normatively and empirically.
  • Bridge Shariah with Other Disciplines: Facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue between Shariah sciences and fields such as economics, law, social sciences, politics, technology, environment, and humanities, to generate comprehensive solutions to global challenges.
  • Enhance Shariah Understanding and Application: Present relevant and applicable research findings to help practitioners, academics, policymakers, and the general public better and more accurately understand and apply Shariah principles.
  • Promote Islamic Finance and Economic Literacy: Become a key reference for the development of global Islamic finance and economic literacy, fostering the sustainable growth of Shariah-based industries and practices.
  • Contribute to Sustainable Development: Provide a scientific foundation for the development of policies and practices that support sustainable development based on Shariah values, including social justice, environmental stewardship, and collective well-being.
