From macroeconomic and microeconomic level, this paper analyzes the impact of credit support on low carbon economy. At the macro level, this paper uses VAR model to analyze the relationship between credit support, low carbon economy and GDP. At the micro level, this paper uses dynamic panel data model to analyze the relationship between green loan, operational efficiency and financial performance. The empirical result shows that under the macroeconomic analysis framework, the support effect of the loan on low carbon economy is significant, on the other hand, the decreasing of energy consumption caused by the low carbon economy is not the granger cause of the credit loan, the endogenous development ability still needs to be formed, while under the microeconomic analysis framework, we find that the short-term loan negatively related with the operation efficiency, and long-term loan positively related with the operational efficiency, while combining the influence of these two categories, the loan does not have a significant impact on the operational efficiency and financial performance of the energy-saving and environment enterprises. From the micro level, the role of credit is still constrained for supporting the low carbon economy, and the efficiency. Although society pays more and more attention to low carbon economy, there is a far distance to fill the goal of low carbon economy establishment.
2023-01-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Profession Akseprin https://jurnal.akseprin.org/index.php/JOPA/article/view/17 New Subjects of Entrepreneurship in Russia – Self-Employed Persons 2023-07-16T20:57:44+07:00 Tokar Efim Yakovlevich ad@gmail.com
The article is dedicated to novelties in regulation of entrepreneurship in the Russian Federation, regulation of rights of individuals residing in the Russian Federation and a number of other states: Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus, to carry out professional activities and receive incomes in the self-employed status in conditions of application of the special tax regime Tax on Professional Activities. The experiment of introducing self-employed persons started on January 1, 2019. It was conducted initially in four subjects of the Russian Federation, and then it was extended to 23 regions. Starting from July 1, 2020, it will be applied throughout the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation. The number of self-employed persons is increasing with each passing month of the experiment. In our opinion, the emergence of a new subject in addition to pre-existing legal forms of entrepreneurship (private entrepreneurs, public and non-public joint stock companies, limited liability companies, etc.) allows individuals, including citizens of a number of states, as we see, not only to raise additional income but also use their professional skills and abilities. Activities of self-employed persons cover a significant number of professions, and specialties, except for only some of them mentioned in the article. The loyal tax regime for self-employed persons will allow them to make a decision based on their will either to be employed and dependent on position, and sometimes on employer’s mood or to fulfill themselves, perhaps, in danger of adequate revenue loss but with beliefs in own abilities and skills. Settling down to a course of this type of entrepreneurial activity, the market environment should be taken into account and economical segments where a service or goods produced by a self-employed person will be sold should be analyzed.
2023-01-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Profession Akseprin https://jurnal.akseprin.org/index.php/JOPA/article/view/18 Effect of Internet Banking on Operational Performance of Commercial Banks in Nakuru County, Kenya 2023-07-16T21:03:14+07:00 Hussein Mohamed Abdullai ad@gmail.com Muthoni Micheni ad@gmail.com
The purpose of this paper was to investigate the effect of internet banking on operational performance of commercial banks in Nakuru County, Kenya. The study was guided by the research objective: to investigate the effect of internet banking on operational performance of commercial banks in Nakuru County. The study employed the following theories namely: Bank-Focused Theory and The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This study adopted a cross-sectional research design. A cross-sectional research design is a research approach in which the researchers investigate the state of affairs in a population at a certain point in time. Very often, the elements in the sample survey are selected at random to make inference about the population as a whole. The study population comprised of 56 employees of the commercial banks. Since the banks are few, the study adopted a census survey. Data was collected using structured questionnaires. A pilot study was conducted in Uasin Gishu County to determine validity of the research instruments where Cronbach’s alpha coefficient (0.7) was employed. Data was analyzed using correlation and regression analysis. The study established that internet banking has a positive significant effect on operational performance of the commercial banks. The study recommends that managements of commercial banks should invest in internet banking as it positively influences operational performance. The study suggests that further studies should be conducted to establish the effect of internet banking on operational performance in other sectors other than banking as the study focused only on commercial banks in order to establish whether internet banking does affect their operational performance.
2023-01-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Profession Akseprin https://jurnal.akseprin.org/index.php/JOPA/article/view/19 The Impact of Local Sector Information on the Performance of Single Listed Foreign Stocks 2023-07-16T21:07:12+07:00 Shirajul Islam ad@gmail.com
Being an instrument for international diversification, the populations of Single listed foreign stocks are growing in major capital markets. Since this is a new trend of foreign listing, both investors and issuers may have concerns about the characteristics of these stocks. This paper focuses on thesetypes of stocks from two different sectors (HealthCare and Technology) which are originated from PRC (Peoples Republic of China) and listed only on the US markets. The sample employs 24 companies’ stock returns in the period of May 2011 to August 2013. Correlation test and Granger causality test are applied to identify the relationships and beyond that, the Bivariate Co-integration test and Impulse Response Function test are applied to identify the nature of the relationships between the stocks and both the home and the US market (Sector Index). The study reveals that these single listed stocks do not have any long term effect from both the Home and the Foreign trading markets whereas, the stocks are highly responsive towards the shocks from US markets in a very short term.
2023-01-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Profession Akseprin https://jurnal.akseprin.org/index.php/JOPA/article/view/20 Review on Volumes of Foreign Economic Operations with Agricultural Products 2023-07-16T21:13:41+07:00 Oleksandrivna Lemishko ad@gmail.com Natalie Yuriivna ad@gmail.com
One of the main tasks for the state is approximation of the Ukrainian legislation to the EU Member States’ legislation in the area of trade and economic relations. For Ukraine, as an independent state, which today faces serious economic problems, the important task is to decide how to take the path of sustainable development of the economy, tax and financial system in the context of the European integration. Ukrainian agriculture and food industry are not sufficiently integrated into the international trading system, as evidenced by the low percentage of exports and imports of agricultural and food products in gross agricultural production. In recent years, in Ukraine, the percentage of exports of agricultural and food products was 16%, compared to 25% in Poland and 53% in France and Germany. Therefore, it is very important for Ukraine to improve the level of competitiveness for domestic products. The article describes the dynamics of agri-food exports and imports into countries, and it has been found a negative trade balance. The commodity structure of exports and imports of Ukrainian agricultural products is discussed. The reasons for the steady growth of imports are substantiated. Measures to improve the trade balance have been proposed.
2023-01-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Profession Akseprin
