Developing Village Information Systems to Enhance the Quality of Public Services
Keywords:
Information Systems, Information Dissemination, Website AdministrationAbstract
The inadequate comprehension of village apparatus concerning the establishment and exploitation of the Village Information System is attributed to insufficient human resource support and a deficiency in existing facilities and equipment. This situation affects village administrators' limited awareness of the significance of utilizing village websites as a means of information dissemination. The competence of village officials regarding website construction and management remains significantly limited, resulting in suboptimal information transmission through the platform, which hinders effective communication and engagement with the community. The team developed a website for the village and conducted training for village officials to enhance their proficiency in managing the Village Information System efficiently. This initiative enhances the accessibility and social engagement of community programs and information, allowing residents to easily access vital resources and participate in local events. The methodology employed entails the utilization of suitable technology via training and website administration, which includes specific tools and platforms that facilitate effective information dissemination and community engagement. This effort resulted in the development of the Village Information System website and a notable enhancement in the competencies of village officials in website management, which in turn improved the dissemination of information and increased community engagement
